CHICKIES!!!!!!!!

One of my hens started laying eggs already and has decided she needs to sit on them. So, I marked all 8 of them and began the watch game. Well, today I went to check on her and heard chirping....

BABIES!!!

It is hard to see them hiding under her there are 3 as of today, not sure how many will hatch but they are soo cute. Each of the boys got to hold one.

Keon Birthday Weekend

So, we spent some time at Morrow Bridge jumping and playing in the sand and the water. (Of course LOADS of laundry) Keon played lego's, watched TV, played on his Laptop, ate tortellini (TONS OF IT!!) and for dinner is having mac n cheese (homemade) with some local shrimp that I'm going to fry up in garlic and butter.....yummy!!! His cake is a sun ....well what I can do to make a sun without a good craft store near. So it is a 5 layer...round orb type thing. Then he put the candles on the top and off we went! Birthday song and cut into it. As he ate it he was a bird....which means he doesn't need a fork. Too funny. More picts to come. Just wanted to put a few up for parents.

Kitten

So, kitten kitten who has a kitten. Okay....now I have 3 Cats, 2 Dogs, 2 Horses, 9 chickens and 2 ducks....let's not forget the Donkey.

They are 3 weeks old....SOOOO TINY!!!!!

Keon has named his kitten "Curious Paws", we call it Paws. (TOP 2 PICT)

Fishing

So, boys want to go fishing. We load up. (Chairs fishing pole, tackle box, buckets, whole kit n caboodle PER PERSON) What do these two (Keon and Hayhoo) do? Go hunt for minnows (SP?). Trajan stayed in the burb and watched TV. So, whey did we go? I have no clue, but they all asked for days. Too funny. Welcome to a day in the life of my 3 boys.

driveway starting and burn off complete

So, yesterday I cleared the front yard with some help from my wonderful neighbor Mr JP WILLIS. He helped me burn off the front yard. Last week I tore down the barbed wire fence and the fence posts. And cut down all the vegetation that had grown over the years. Which left LOTS of leaves, and TONS of grass. All now gone. The large mound of dirt is left from the culvert being in. Mr JP is going to till that under once the ground dries. At which point this front area will have some plants put into it, those plants are on the side of my house waiting.

Can't do concrete here because the land has been turned and not complacted. So, I was talking to a neighbor about it and they came over with some rock. RIGHT ON!!! Drive way!
